How it works

Install SheetLaunch, sign in with Google, and choose SheetLaunch when opening a CSV file. The file is uploaded directly to Drive and opened in Google Sheets.

Open CSV data without manual upload

CSV files are widely used for exports, reports, contact lists, and data transfers. SheetLaunch sends the selected CSV to your Google Drive and opens it in Google Sheets so you can sort, filter, format, and share it immediately.

  1. Sign in with the Google account you want to use.
  2. Locate the CSV file in Windows Explorer.
  3. Choose Open with, then select SheetLaunch.
  4. Check the imported columns and values in Google Sheets.

Check separators and encoding

CSV files can use commas, semicolons, or tabs as delimiters and different character encodings (e.g. UTF-8 vs ASCII). If columns appear merged or special characters look incorrect, import the data again with the appropriate delimiter settings in Google Sheets.

Will it create duplicate files?

You can enable file reuse in SheetLaunch so the same local CSV reopens its existing Google Sheets copy, keeping your Workspace organized.

Keep your data safe

The original CSV file on your hard drive remains unmodified. Review your Google Drive sharing permissions before sharing converted spreadsheets containing sensitive business data.
